About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Information Systems Manager who will report to the Director of Quality to oversee the organisation’s information technology (IT) deployments and Information Security.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of all technology-dependent aspects of the business as well as ensuring Business compliance for Information Security to meet ISO27001 standards.

This is a full-time position, with the flexibility to adjust to 0.8 FTE if preferred. This role is located at our new, state-of-the-art Melbourne facility, in the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre on the edge of the CBD in Australia’s most dynamic biomedical precinct.

 

To be successful in this role 

CTPL is seeking candidates with extensive senior-level experience in IT. Preferred candidates will be able to demonstrate results and impact through:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Senior positions within IT.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS implementation, IT infrastructure, networks, and security principles.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in a variety of IT tools and technologies relevant to the Life Sciences industry
  • Fundamental understanding of GxP, and previous experience working with CDMO or similar environment with associated client interaction.
  • Experience with ISO27001 compliance requirements.
  • Project management experience (including Agile)
  • Certifications in IT related fields (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CISM).
